Blog sale featuring L'oreal, Illamasqua, Armani, Rimmel and lots more!

I'm having a wee blog sale. Being a skint student still on the job hunt (which is so hard, I have been trying everywhere and to no avail) so i'm selling off a lot of my stuff. I have an ebay page too if you would like to have a nosey.

All payments are to be made by PayPal, so leave a comment below with what you would like or email me below at niamhg23@live.co.uk because that is my PayPal address.

I will send all items 2nd class Royal Mail p+p. I will try and add as many items in the one parcel to keep the postage down. This will cost £2.60. If you would like it recorded then this will have to be extra. The books will be £3.00 and again, I will try to fit everything into one parcel to keep costs down.

If you are buying just single jewellery items then this will cost 90p (except the bangles due to the size and weight of them) with any extra items at 20p each. Again, if there will be multiple items then I will have to put it into a parcel which will cost £2.60.

A lot of my items are new and unused. Those that have been used have only been used once or twice, the foundation has really only been swatched as they are the wrong shade for me and are basically full. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

I am open to an offers or a combined price for multiple items.

Enjoy xx

My perfumes

Hi lovelies!

I thought I would do a little post on the perfumes that I have and which I love! Im funny about my perfumes, I hate light floral scents, they are not for me! Or scents that smell too citrusy, they make me sneeze uncontrollably, im looking at you DKNY!

I will not go into the whole top notes and base notes details of them all, basically because I dont know what they have and I dont understand it. I love a scent that is luxurious and one spray will last the whole day, so im attracted to heavier, muskier and woody scents. And these are basically my go to scents, I dont have one perfume that my friends would associate me with as they associate all of them with me ha! I definitely spray according to my mood and to the clothes that im wearing, that sounds daft but everything has to work for my whole outfit. I dont want to be wearing a killer outfit that is making me feel strong and powerful with full red lips and sky high heels with a weak, floral scent as it would upset my whole look and depresses me.

So in no particular order I LOVE:

Jean Paul Gaultier classique EDT
Prada Candy EDP (Love this!)
Roberto Cavalli EDP
Girorgio Armani Diamonds EDP (probably the sweeter scent that I own, but I surprisingly like it)
Lacoste Pour Feme EDP (very light, doesnt have great lasting power but its beautiful, like a soft powder)
Ghost EDP
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb EDT (this is my 'special' scent, already asking for the EDP for my birthday)
Vera Wang Princess EDT

I also own Thierry Mugler Alien that I usually wear daily but that is in one of my many handbags.

And I also love Fan Di Fendi by Fendi, that is a proper grown up scent with undertones of leather that just blew my mind! Mother has bought me that for a gift so I dont own it just yet.

Out of all the perfumes I would have to say that Jean Paul and Vera Wang have been the longest love affairs that I have, they are always put on my Christmas list and have been wearing these since I was 14. The others are definitely becoming my signature scents that I will definitely be buying again, I always get compliments when wearing them which is what everybody wants.

I always carry perfume with me, so its a given that in every of my bags you will find perfume, handcream and lip balm.

I dont have a fancy shelf or dressing table to have them on display unfortunately as my room is too small, so they are kept in a little drawer away from direct light and heat that can ruin the fragrance. I love opening this drawer and having a little rummage of what I should smell like today :)

What do you think of my collection? Do you own any of these scents or what do you prefer?

Let me know below x

Oscars 2013 Jewels

Hello darlings!

So another quick post on the Oscars 2013 only this time its on the jewels! As all of the dresses were magnificent, you could barely get a sneaky peek at their shoes, which is always a shame so instead I've decided to focus on the diamonds! The lucky things not only get to wear custom made gowns or dresses straight off the catwalk, but they also get to wear hundreds of thousands, and sometimes millions worth of jewels!

So here are my top pick of last nights sparkle:

Jennifer Aniston wearing Fred Leighton, and a cheeky wee glance at her engagement ring, oh! But in love with these bracelets, beautiful.

Both Oscar winners of the night, Ann Hathaway and J-Law, opted to wear their chains backwards and this is a trend that will catch on. As somebody mentioned on twitter last night, the sound of clinking is everybody turning their chains backwards. I oddly like it. It adds drama. Drama is good. Ann wore Tiffany and J-Law (loving this name!) wore Chopard.

Zoe Saldana's beautiful pearl dropped earrings on a string of diamonds add the right amount of glamour, sparkle and sophistication to that beautiful dress of hers. Drop earrings are always a must to ensure they will be seen and draws attention to the best proportions of your face; the jaw line, lips, cheekbones and eyes. These are Neil Lane.

Jessica Chastain's vintage Harry Winston diamonds just add to her overall old Hollywood glamour that she was emulating, and successfully if I may add. She was my favourite look of the whole night and could not get over how beautiful and dreamy she looked. I think this will definitely go down in Oscar fashion history. Stunning!

Now this I LOVED! Jen Garner has never really 'wowed' me in the past, her Gucci dress was gorgeous if a littly tricky on the proportions as the rouching at the back could have looked disastrous or that she was trying to be a butterfly, but somehow she made it work. this necklace however took my breath away. Look at it! Look at it in all of its glory! A proper princess necklace that looks like it has been borrowed from the vaults of Grace Kelly, it combines both the elements that is needed for royalty and a movie star that would have suited the late legendary icon perfectly! Good call Jen, good call!

So that is all for the Oscar 2013 talks. I havent seen much of the after party outifts but over all I have been somewhat underwhelmed by it all. Except for Jessica Chastain. It's all about her, shes the one! New style crush heeeeeey Jessica!

Bye lovelies!

Oscars 2013

Hello beauties!

Im going to do a very quick post on the Oscars last night and the best dressed! Im not gona lie, I was a wee bit let down by the choice of gowns this year. They were either all the same colour or same style, there was no real diversity and even though Ann Hathaway tried to channel Audrey Hepburn in Prada, I was so disappointed that there was no vintage dresses from the great couture houses archives. And not one Chanel dress. Is this the first year that there hasnt been Chanel on the red carpet? If Diane Kruger was there im sure she would have worn Chanel , I love that she doesnt have a stylist!

So the best dressed of the entire night goes to Jessica Chastain! She took my breath away, an absolute dream in Armani! I wouldve loved her to win the Oscar, she bounced into the film industry and every single role she has played has been amazing! I liked her in 'The Help' I fell in love with her in 'lawless'. I adore her!

I was so surprised with Stacy Kiebler! Not actually knowing much about her or her usual red carpet style, I was blown away by her Naeem Khan metallic dress. Every single design element of this dress complimented her perfectly! She upstaged her BF George Clooney and not many people can do that! When is he just going to marry the girl, shes the longest out of his beaus that has lasted this long, he's settling down!

Another blown away moment was my girl Catherine Zeta Jones! I love this woman! How beautiful was she in Zuhair Murad? I love Zuhair Murad, he is definitely King of dressing for the red carpet, all of his dresses have impact and lasting impressions that the Oscars require. Mrs Zeta Jones was looking ravishing in gold, and look at the detailing of that dress, I couldnt get over it! She is stunning, nothing put love for the woman!

I dont usually pay attention to the men, as a suit is a suit, but OMG Eddie Redmayne in Alexander McQueen. Beauty. That is all. I cant cope with this man.

I've said it once but I'm going to say it again, Jennifer Lawrence step away from Dior and that shape of dress. You wore it to the academys and to the Baftas, its getting boring! The dress is absolutely beautiful and you look like a floating princess in it but its been done, you're 22 so take braver risks and show off that figure of yours a la 2011 Calvin Klein red number. Sex bomb!

Im surprised for Anne Hathaway to ditch her fail safe favourite and BFFL Valentino for Prada, im sure he's not too happy! That is a bold and risky move and hope that her friendship with the Italian icon doesn't falter as these dresses are prepared MONTHS in advance with tons of fittings, last minute changes etc it's a long term commitment that you can't back out off last minute in fear of the backlash of the fashion house and that they may not lend in future occasions. Im tempted to know what the Valentino dress was though, maybe she thought she would clash with Jennifer Aniston's Red Valentino gown? But I do think that this is the first Prada that an Oscar winner has worn when collecting an award, I need to double check.
